Susan Hensel is co-founder and partner of Hensel Grad P.C. – a law and advisory firm focusing exclusively on the gaming industry. She was chosen as one of the 25 People to Watch by Global Gaming Magazine and named one of the Ten Most Influential Women in Gaming by iGaming Business. Susan is the Past two-term President of the International Association of Gaming Regulators. She is an advisor to gaming companies and sits on the Advisory Board of multiple entities and the All-In-Diversity Project, an industry-driven not-for-profit initiative to benchmark diversity, equality, and inclusion in the global gaming industry.
Susan is a frequent speaker on gaming law and regulation and has spoken worldwide including North and South America, Asia, Africa, and Europe. She has also published articles on gaming regulation and has collaborated with gaming regulators around the globe. She is among the best-known and respected former U.S. regulators on an international stage.
Before founding Hensel Grad, Susan was Director of Licensing for the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board. She was the agency’s first employee and helped build gaming from the ground up in what became the second-largest gaming market in the U.S. As Director, Susan oversaw the licensing of more than 100,000 entities and individuals in Pennsylvania.
Previously, Susan served in executive-level positions with the Pennsylvania state government. She began her career as a television news reporter.
